Yes. The Happy & Healthy Smile Assessment is for new adult patients who have not been seen at Chaska Family Dental before.

This assessment is for adults paying out of pocket. That includes patients without dental insurance and patients who choose to be treated as out‑of‑network. If you plan to use in‑network benefits, please use our regular new‑patient options.

Some clinics advertise very low exam and X‑ray prices, but the cleaning is not included and additional fees are presented once you arrive. Patients have told us that this can feel confusing and that they sometimes feel strong pressure to commit to treatment plans on the spot in order to “make the special worth it.”

The "Happy & Healthy Smile Assessment" is designed to work differently. We:

1. Clearly outline what your $299 visit includes
2. Explain when a healthy‑mouth cleaning is included and when a different type of gum care is needed
3. Apply your $299 as a credit toward that gum care if it is required
4. Review your total before any treatment begins
5. Give you time to ask questions and decide how you would like to move forward, without high‑pressure tactics

Our goal is a thorough assessment, a clear plan, and a pace that fits your comfort and your budget, not a one‑time promotion that has to be recovered in other ways.

Every Assessment starts at $299 and includes your comprehensive exam and all necessary X‑rays. If your gums are healthy, your standard cleaning is included. If you need more advanced gum treatment, we explain your options, show you the total (usually between $299 and the mid‑$500s), apply your $299 as a credit, and move forward only with your approval.
